Trinity Hightower Stucker Announces Campaign for Okanogan County Commissioner, District 3
Tonasket, WA
Trinity Hightower Stucker officially launched her campaign for Okanogan County Commissioner, District 3, with a community spaghetti feed fundraiser on Thursday, April 30, at the Tonasket Eagles.
"County government should be practical, transparent, and responsive to the people it serves. District 3 deserves leadership that understands rural life firsthand and supports the hard work of families, farmers, ranchers, small businesses, and community institutions. I bring real-world experience and a commitment to strengthening Okanogan County's economy for every family and community."
Trinity Hightower Stucker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government / Pre-Law with a minor in Economics from Eastern Washington University. Her background includes elected civic leadership, watershed planning, legislative experience in the Washington State Senate, and hands-on management of farm, family, and homeschooling responsibilities — including budgeting, recordkeeping, policy review, public communication, and coordination with diverse stakeholders.
"Public service is not about political theater. It requires sound judgment, follow-through, and decisions that protect the long-term interests of Okanogan County. I believe in responsible stewardship of land and water, efficient and accountable government, proactive budgeting, lower taxes, and respect for taxpayers."
Trinity Hightower Stucker emphasized her commitment to restoring confidence in local government: "As your commissioner, I will work to rebuild public trust, support a vibrant local economy, protect local voices, and ensure county government remains responsive, honest, and effective. I am dedicated to strengthening communication among our communities and growing our future together."
